Multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 (MEN1) is an autosomal dominant disorder characterized by variable combination of more than 20 types of endocrine and non-endocrine tumors: typically parathyroid glands, pancreatic islet cells and anterior pituitary gland are involved.
